Egypt Tourist e Visa
The tourist e-visa of Egypt is issued to tourists from eligible countries. You can use this online visa to tour the country, visit family and friends, or even spend your vacation in any part of the country. There are two types of tourist e-visas for visitors based on the duration, and they are as follows.
Single Entry e Visa: The single entry e visa allows the holder to visit Egypt only once for a period of 30 days, not later than 90 days after it is issued. Once you leave Egypt, you cannot use the same e-visa again.
Multiple Entry e Visa: The second type is the multiple entry e visa for tourists, which allows you to enter Egypt several times within 90 days after it is issued. This e-visa is useful for frequent visitors who plan to enter and exit the country at short intervals.
While the single entry visa lasts only three months, this one has a validity of 3 months to 1 year. If you plan to visit Egypt multiple times within a calendar year, you should apply for a one-year visa.

If you arrive by cruise ship, the visa is usually handled onboard the ship for you. If you arrive by air (as when you are taking a river cruise), you can procure an electronic visa online with us before you arrive.
Single-entry tourist visa on arrival up to 30 days can be obtained in order to visit Egypt.
Egyptian work visas are not issued in the United States. Applicants who wish to apply and work in Egypt must apply for a business visa beforehand and go to Egypt to apply for the work visa there. The visa is issued by the Ministry of Labor in Egypt and you should contact your sponsor/company in Egypt and have them make the necessary arrangements with the government.

Visa application form. For online orders, please download, print and sign (the signature on the application form has to match the signature on the passport) Egypt visa application, prepared by our system under your account. Please ensure your employment information is filled out in the section ‘Other information’ on page 2 of the application.
Original passport. The passport must be valid at least 6 months after the intended date of departure from the territory of the destination country.
Passport-type photograph. Include 2 passport style photos, with a white background, taken within the last 6 months. You may also choose to upload a photo to your order for us to print. There is a charge associated with this service.
Visa application form. Business Support Letter. A business letter from the sending company in the US. The letter should be printed on the company letterhead stationery, addressed to "The Consulate of Egypt, Visa Section", and signed by a senior manager. The business letter must adhere to the following guidelines:
• Briefly introduce the applicant (please specify employment status/position held in the company by applicant).
• State the nature of the business to be conducted (ie. business meetings, contract negotiations, etc.) and the names and addresses of companies to be contacted in Egypt.
• Specify the Type and desired Validity of the visa (ie. a one year multiple entry business visa).
• Guarantee of sufficient funds for travel.
